Are you dreaming of a White Christmas? I am, to me there is something magical about snow and the holidays. However my real dream for this holiday season is that every child in our community is able to receive a gift and that the families in our community that need help are getting it and have somewhere familiar to turn for help. There are many families in our community who are having hard financial times and who are unable to provide presents or the holiday experience for their children. These families need our help, so PLEASE do what you can to donate what you can to the Daybreak Elementary Secret Santa Program. The donations given to this program are being dispersed among the families in need in our community (Daybreak, Country Crossing, & Sunstone). All types of donations are being excepted such as, toys, clothes, gift cards, gas cards, cash, etc. anything you can afford to donate that can help some of our neighbors in need is extremely appreciated. All donations should be dropped off at the Daybreak Elementary School Office and if you have any questions at all please contact Daybreak Elementary at 302-0553 and ask for Joni. . FYI- Daybreak Elementary is coordinating with Eastlake Elementary to ensure the children and families in need from both schools will benefit from this program... . Again, please do what you can to try to donate to this program, no matter how small the donation is, it will help a family in need... . ~Scoop |
