Fence question

I am curious about the school fence issue. Do we know how many names were submitted on the petition for a fence to protect both the homeowners and school children? Were there reps there for that? I know there was one going around, but didn't learn of the final result. I wish the meeting wasn't so early, so I could go :(

Littleash, I'm confused by your comment... the petition I saw that I know had the 250 signatures (one of my neighbors was part of going around) was to have a fence... just not one that violated community design standards. The school had bought 6' fence which is unacceptable considering all the homes around the school were originally told there would be no fence. I do think there needs to be a fence but it should meet the community standards to blend well. The excuses I've heard for a 6' fence over a 4' are ridiculous and I don't believe anybody is against the fence... just that high of one!
