It's funny. We don't really use a lot of ammenities here. We don't mind paying, but I do not want to pay for the new web site. I feel so controlled!! I loved reading the forum as did many other people. We all knew that by the number of viewings. I didn't agree with everything, but it was cool to see how people felt. Isn't this America?? Is the HOA that intimidated that they had to get rid of the forum. How week is that?? My friends, who were thinking about buying here, are worried that they are now trying to hide something! We are all big people here and they should know that generally speaking, people don't believe everything they read or hear! Wow, I feel really controlled!

Well the website in a box doesn't have to be pretty in order to function properly. The daybreakutah.com website has the branding and fun colors to get buyers to like the community. You think they might want to keep up the fun community vibe once you gain access to the private HOA website, but notsomuch with this standard HOA template.
Funny however, that a comment above hinted at the HOA not having forums because they would rather us voice our opinions directly. The makers of the new website software state this on their website...

"Our feature-packed websites can make your time spent on homeowners association activities up to 32% more productive and save your community more than $30 per unit each year. A community website from AssociationVoice lets you run your entire community online and can cut your phone calls by 50%."
===
The forums were more than just rants, I agree that it helped give us more of a community feel by being able to interact with each other online.

Folks, I was going to package up these comments and forward them to Tina and Derek just for fun, but why don't you go ahead and send them off yourselves. Or, we could start a phone campaign to express our displeasure about not having forums.

About the clubs page, I noticed that some of the clubs were missing like the pee wee cooking club. Taking the forums out was a bad move.

I don't know if this *helps* anyone, but the DCC sells a visitors combo day pass good for both the pool and the boats all day for $5- the same price as admission to just the pool. I didn't know these existed until I stopped by to get a pool pass for my nephew.

I have already sent my comments to Tina Esparza to convey my displeasure with their website. I also suggest everyone does.
