Gym, weights, aerobic machines, work-out rooms, and classes. There is also an onsite daycare for those working out.

That sounds terrific!

Not to burst your bubble about the community center, but the gym classes are not included in the regular membership. They are $5 a class or $30 for a monthly pass to unlimited classes. The classes are challenging and fun, but some members aren't a fan of having to pay more for the classes.

Looking at the budget will give you the best overview of where money is spent. After reviewing the budget you will know that an inordinate amount of our fee's go into (mediocre) management.

Remember, if you plan to workout at the DCC, daycare is not free.

Speaking of the DCC, has the new manager implemented a sanitation program for the equipment? I was soooo grossed out because towels and disinfectant spray weren’t available to clean machines after use, I bought my own elliptical and won't touch anything in that place. Any other gym I belonged to in the past were manic about wiping sweat and germs off each piece of equipment after use.

Any idea where I can see the budget?
