How about this for suggestion to KL / HOA.

Have resident opt-out of Daytimes. That will save money and paper (aka trees) for people who just drop Daytimes into the recycling bin (hope they do)

When people move in and sign up with HOA, have them opt-in or opt-out of Daytimes. It's probably better to default (no mailiing) unless requested.

Either that, or Daytimes' editor/producer needed a minimal "subscription" to have/keep the job.

Great idea but I have a feeling a majority of people would sign up thinking it was a nice thing to have and then never bother to be taken off the list later. As for the subscription... I don't know anybody that would pay for the Daytimes. With all the e-mails they send, I don't know why they even bother with the paper. Its all the same crap just in different formats.. why bother with both? Oh right... it employs one more overpaid person...
