Interesting that neither KL or HOA mention this to the community. You can imagine the impact (road closure, lake and park closure).

However, it's really cool that for $10, I can go swim in the lake without getting yelled at by security.

Interesting, too, Sam and Sapo, that the banner on the link says the Daybreak Tri is September 19th and the info at the bottom of the announcement says it's June 27th, Did I get this wrong or is it yet another example of KL/HOA's screw-up's?

The Daybreak Triathlon is not orginized by KL or the HOA but by US TriSports (a South Jordan orginization by the looks of it). The June 27th date I think is a cut-and-paste error because the Rock Cliff Tri (Jordanelle Res.) is scheduled on June 27th. These races are part of the first annual Salt Lake Triathlon Series with Olympic and Sprint distances. http://www.ustrisports.com/races.htm

The first race is in Stansbury Park on May 23.
The second is at Jordanelle Res on June 27.
The third is in Daybreak on September 19.

I'm guessing this is still very new which would explain the typos as well as the lack of announcement from KL/HOA. I only found it because I was 'googling' for Sprint Triathlons near Salt Lake City.
