I am hosting a large bridal shower and thought it would be more comfortable at the DCC instead of my small house. Do you know that is costs $25/hour to use a small room? This does include set-up of tables and chairs but that fee seems ridiculous to me. I very rarely use the work-out facilities and never use the daycare but when I want to use a room I have to pay? This doesn't seem fair to me. Just wondering what the benefit to residents this facility is. Anyone have some insight?

I thouhgt it was $75 per hour, but that might have been for the large room, it might be $25 per hour for the small room. Ask Courtney at the DCC to be sure...

I bet you couldn't rent a room anywhere else for $25/hr or even $75/hour. Especially with table and chair set up.

I know I couldn't rent a room anywhere else for that amount. I was just thinking that having access to the room would be free to residents. I am going to pay it and have a great party but I was just surprised that it is going to cost me anything. It is a great resource. I just wanted people to be aware that the rooms are available but don't be surprised when they tell you there is a fee involved.

As residents, aren't we already paying for the facility as it is?

I agree, it should only be a deposit, not a rental fee
