31 houses on our street. 2 flags to commemorate the sacrifices all veterans and active-duty personnel have made. Daybreak should be ashamed. I saw a few more flags on the Fourth of July and many more on Pioneer's Day. What's the story?

Not sure . . . I don't even own a flag. But if I did, I would put it out on Veterans Day and 4th of July vs. Pioneer day. I like how some neighborhoods coordinate an effort to have flags line the street on occasions like this..

For the nieghborhoods that are coordinated... its usually done by the boyscouts. Several troops in the valley have residents pay a yearly fee to have the flags put up. Great idea for a fundraiser that I'd happily pay for as I don't own a flag either.
