The HOA has sent out a Proxy form for all residents to sign for the upcoming annual meeting on the 18th. If they don't get 700+ responses, they won't have the meeting. (which is mandated by the by-laws) If they worked 1/10th as hard at managing, properly, as they work to avoid their obligations, the community would be infinitely more enhanced and the 50% rise in dues (in 2010-11) would be unnecessary.

Even if you aren't going, designate a proxy and send in the Proxy form. If you don't want the Secretary of the Board of Directors to cast a vote in your name for Kennecott and CCMC's agenda, stipulate appropriately. Hope to see a great turn-out.

The HOA office stated our proxies are only needed to approve the Annual Meeting minutes from 2009. There will not be any other items of business that will require approval from residents.

I don't mind having the HOA secretary to cast my vote if this is the only matter of business...

Of course, we have no voting rights and the issue of approval for past meeting minutes has never come up, before. No matter your choice for casting the vote, please send in your proxy.
