is it me or do the condo's in north shore village (color & design) not seem to fit int the Daybreak vision? I was over at the zip line the other day with the kids, and standing from the park the condo's looked out of place from the whole panaramic view the rest of Daybreak.

Are you referring to the Holmes Home lofts that go around the traffic circle? I actual like the lofts, but the modern design to the townhomes drive me crazy. To each there own I guess! I have also noticed that in Northshore more tan stucco is being allowed to be built than before, but when Ivory started to build in Daybreak I figured that would happen.

I feel that most of NorthShore, as it goes with a more modern design has a different feel and vision than Founders & Eastlake, but Northshore is suppose to create the transition into higher density walkable housing that has always been Daybreak. I believe Daybreak Man has a blog about this on his site.

Personally, I can't stand these condos.. The large grey and blue ones don't fit in one bit, along with the black and red condos along Oquirrh Lake Road..

I live in north shore, in the parkside single family homes, and when I have visitors come, they seem to think that these condos make the area look "run down".

I actually love those condos. I don't live there, but in a different part of North Shore, and I don't think they cheapen the look at all. I love the colors they chose. The only townhomes I DON'T like are the ones just west of the North Shore Model area that are on the very west end of what's finished in North Shore right now. Those look a bit weird, but the ones around the roundabout are nice.

Not all of North Shore is high density or townhome/condos. Take a look at the very east end, there are some amazing homes going up, and all those lots are slotted to be big beautiful single-family homes, like in the rest of Daybreak.

Variety with taste is what makes this place such a great scene, in my opinion!
