hapafour - I believe South Jordan has a limitation of 72 hours that a car can be parked without moving on a street. Call the cops if you notice cars parked longer and they'll come check. A lot of times (especially in the winter) it becomes obvious very quickly how long a car has been parked. Depending on the situation and how many times its been called on, the cops may give a warning or a ticket. I've yet to see any city tow a car unless its been declared abandoned. South Jordan responds quite well to these type of issues so you can always give them a call and discuss it with them.

Salt Lake City has a fleet of little three wheeled cars that spend 6 days a week making that city money.
They also have parking zones so that the residents can park in front of their homes. Across from Daybreak elementary you have a hard time parking on the street because of the overflow from the school. And as of last Saturday it appears that the soccer games are here again.
