Budget meeting 14 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 18
13 residents attended all of the meeting. 5 more attended part of the meeting.

- Do you know what kind of raises the CCMC employees are getting in 2010?
- Do you know how many new employees CCMC is hiring in 2010?
- Do you know what kind of irrational fees are now proposed for
submitting a request to plant some flowers or put in a skylight?
(so the cost of feeding the DRC paid "volunteers" can be heaped
upon you?
- Do you know what improvements to Daybreak's playgrounds are being
postponed or eliminated?
- Do you know the percentage of homes in Daybreak which can't, or
refuse, to pay their dues so you will have to pay them?
- Do you know how much your dues are going up this year?

Derek Tarries, CCMC's Community Manager and Daybreak's own "Smiling Proctologist" arrived with a Power Point Presentation and danced his way into your wallets, once again, to fund CCMC's bloated agenda. His figures were incomplete, his explanations inadequate and his arrogance could not be masked. His CCMC bosses sat like a couple of smiling bobble heads and congratulated him enthusiastically, afterwards.

If you attended, you should be outraged! At what? CCMC's continued incompetence and lack of compassion for those of us who are struggling
and at all of those who think that they have a right to complain and,
yet, are too lazy to get involved.

Tarries smiled proudly when he answered a question about the percentage
of homes who are NOT paying their dues with a resounding ONLY 10%. With the proposed increases and fees, that percentage will again explode to the 20% it was most of this fiscal year. Guess who will be underwriting that shortfall.

The price of community apathy will be paid for years to come. Shame on
us.

Basically due to circumstances in life I won't be able to attend Wednesday night meeting for a while.

But I just printed the budget and saw the increase in dues while CCMC employees get a raise and just about blew my gaskets! Who on earth do they think they are? AIG? Many people are losing jobs and the HOA is increasing fees!!!!!!!!! I'm going to have to calm down a little before I talk to Derek & Ty.

Can someone please help me understand why the answer always seems for the homeowners who do pay to cover those who don't? Why do they never go after those who don't? Do they do anything? I am frustrated they want to increase fees when they do not provide decent services in some cases, the lake park has been a fiasco. Are the residents to blame for that mistake too?

Does anyone know what the penalty is for not paying the dues? These people act like they got their ethics and financial training on Wall Street! Lets give them a bonus for being so incompetent!

I sent off my email to Derek & Ty today to get some answers about the budget and Derek responded back saying by the end of the day they plan to post some FAQ about the budget and send out an email blast answering some of the community questions that have been proposed.

I have also sent out an email to my neighbors telling them about the proposed increase in our dues and have asked them to get involved. Please send an email to your neighbors or go and talk to them and tell them about the proposed increase in our dues and ask them to get involved! Just becuase you weren't at the meeting (I couldn't make it) doesn't mean you have to sit at the sidelines!

I'm still somewhat kinda light headed after reading the part about having to pay $250 to submit an application for an architectural change. I bet I could find someone in the HOA and pass them a $20 and get the same results! How is this going to help to improve our home values?
