Age discrimination for adult swim time? Are you kidding? There isn't any other way a person could swim laps for exercise!
I was a bit shocked when I heard age discrimination was an issue at the pool this summer. It's OK in numerous other communities to set aside "adult only" time, why not Daybreak?
If people want full access for their children, they should offset the fees paid by adults without children that can't appreciate and use the facilities as they would like.
I like children. I have children. But, there are instances where adults should be allowed to participate in adult only functions. There are reasons to have adult only swim, one of them is safety.
If Mr/Ms Daybreak resident wants equal opportunity for their children, let them hire an attorney to get it. I doubt they will be willing to step up to the $$$ plate just to eliminate one hour of adult swim time. Or, we could ask CCMC to "man up" and say "NO" to ridiculous charges of age discrimination.
I don’t see anything on the Daybreak sign that says - All children, all the time.
