I got word while attending South Jordan University that the Barnes & Noble that was going to be in the District isn't going to happen. Apparently they decided the location was to close to the one in Jordan Landing.

bummer...I was hoping for a coffee bean (its the california in me)...

Yea, my wife and I love spending time on the weekends reading and having coffee at B&N. I really wish they would reconsider their decision.

As it was communicated to me in SJU, the District will just continue North, following the same pattern, as opposed to Teeing off with Barnes & Noble. This mean more smaller shops, but the loss of what would have been a great anchor.

I am not sure if it will help or not, but I contacted their Customer Service and ask them to re-consider...
