i hope everyone has seen the email from the HOA mothership regarding the influx of 600 good KL/HOA soldiers, daily, to the monolith on Daybreak View Parkway. If not, here it is:
Dear Residents,
Kennecott Land is pleased to announce the opening of the Rio Tinto Corporate building. Starting September 29, 2008 almost 600 employees will be entering Daybreak. We ask every resident to be attentive of the increase of activity throughout all of Daybreak. The largest impact will be during the morning and evening commute as well as lunch time.
Thank you,
Melissa Carsey
Administrative Coordinator
Daybreak Community Association
One thing struck me as curious:
The HOA wants us, who live here, to be attentive. I wonder if KL/Rio Tinto gave the thundering horde a briefing or an email which said, "We are pleased to announce that you all are now commuting to Daybreak. It is a residential community which is a 'walking community' and our building (your new workplace) is adjacent to walking trails and a much-visited lake. Please be extremely careful of foot and vehicular traffic while you're clogging up the approach streets and making the residents' lives a nightmare while they try to get to work and get home from work, outside of Daybreak!"
Anyone who works for either of these "good landlords" and lives here, know if they extended the courtesy to us, as well???
