Liens from Destination 15 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 1
Hello,

I am curious if anyone else if getting a lien letter from the subcontractor that Destination used back in October. We had a driveway replaced as warranty work and they are having disputes between themselves as to who is to pay, so now we have a lien.

Yes, we've had some work done as well and actually spoke with the concrete sub-contractor. He is very bitter about how destination cut him loose. According to him, he hasn't been paid because Destination hasn't received the insurance money on the warranty work that is being done.

Interesting. We talked to Destination who got a nudge from Kennecott. The story they give is that it is an illegal lien since according to their records they have paid in full and they are hiring an attorney. They did however tell us about letting the concrete company go.

Bion will be watching to see if they, in fact, file a wrongful lien. If they do, he will be the first to let them know. Let's stay in touch on this one. Bion says the law is very specific.

Just thought I would update and let you know the lien was finally taken off my house. Now if I could just get Destination to fix the stucco damage the concrete people caused. Sigh!
