This is an interesting response to an inquiry made about the sorry condition of Hillside Park (the waterfall park). Apparently the City owns it now:

We are aware of the current condition of Hillside Park and Kennecott Land is trying to work with the City of South Jordan to improve its maintenance of that park. We are hoping that their efforts will show some success soon and its maintenance meets the same standard we try to up hold for the HOA parks.
