Well.

We won't have to worry about the pool much longer. I went down tonight for lane swimming at 8pm and found out they close at 8 now. And they are closing down Sept 1 until next summer.

Is it just me, or does it stay warm in Utah past September 1st? I suppose the community is too large to give everyone keys and post 'No Lifeguard on Duty' signs, and allow us to use the pool and spa until at least 10pm..

Oh well. I'm sad. I moved here for amenties like this. I just hope the boat rentals don't close down for the season on Sept 1st also.

All pools in Salt Lake close the same weekend every year... Labor Day. I agree that it would be nice if they would stay open longer since we do generally have nice weather past Labor Day but I've yet to see any pool (lifeguards or swim at your own risk) stay open past that date here.
As for the 8pm closure... they sent out an e-mail several weeks ago. You may want to check to see if you're on the mailing list.
Lastly... the boats do stay open longer... yea! I don't remember when they shut down but I believe its through september. Hope that helps!
