I am sure you all know (if not) the Daybreak HOA website is being shut down for 4-5 weeks. The HOA says that once the new site is up it will be much more functional and cheaper each month to maintain. However the site will still be controlled by the Daybreak HOA which means some ideas and information can not be shared without the influence of any commercial interests or special interests directly involved with Kennecott Land or CCMC...

which is why I made and hope you prefer The Daybreak Daily...

I think it doesn't make sense that it is shut down that long. I work in this industry, and you host and test the new website on your server until it is ready to go, then you launch without missing a beat. This is a poor business practice. I am assuming they will use the opportunity to purge the message boards!

Maybe we should ask the HOA IT guy. Oh, wait, they don't have one.

Not enough knowledge, and poor planning. BUT, I'm glad they took the step to be more fiscally responsible.

Not that I don't love this site, but is there any word on when the Daybreak HOA site will be back up? It's been almost 6 weeks since it was shut down and no word on what's up. I am not surprised as this is pretty par for the course just curious if you knew the scoop, scoop!

they don't have a hard date yet, however they are trying to get it done and up as soon as they can, my guess would be sometime in August, but you never know.

In August, huh? So if we plan according to every other date they've given us, the site should be up sometime next year? I'd be shocked if they ever met their own date of completion. Too bad my job isn't like that, I'd get fired for missing as many deadlines as they have, and they are the ones to set them!
