There is still a lot of misunderstanding about the new rules. I was talking with a mom there who thought she didn't need the plastic pants because there was a "swim diaper" built into here child's swim suit. It wasn't plastic and I have yet to see one in a suit that is snug enough around the edges. Also, if you look at most of the kids at the pool, the plastic pants ride BELOW the swim diaper around the waist so a leak will still get out. I'm constantly pulling up the plastic because it tends to slide down. I don't think most people take a true "cleansing" shower with soap before they enter the pool anyway. It all adds to the thrill of living dangerously.
