I think it is a great place to raise children! The schools are new and the area feels very safe! There are a lot of activities for kids and families! We are from California and like the way the homes looks here! They are all different colors and not just the typical brown/tan that you see a lot in new homes! There are several builders to choose from, so it is pretty easy to find a floor plan that you like! It is hard to see how pretty it is here in the winter, but if you come in the spring you will be amazed at all of the flowers that are blooming in the parks and in front yards! Some people go all out with the tulips! The lake is great 3 seasons out of the year! Kayaking and boating in the summer time right near your home is not something a lot of neighborhoods have! We have never liked huge back yards and can't stand yard work so our yard is perfect for us! It is a matter of personal preference on that one!! Good luck in your search!!
