The homes that have the $50 a month are the very first phase... they don't have Qwest as the contract with them was not established at that time, nor was the fiber optic wired into those homes. For all homes after that phase, the base is $84. Townhomes and condos pay more for yard maintenance, insurance, sewer/trash, etc. I believe some even have their water included in their fees. There is a reason to higher fees depending on where you live but the townhomes and condos also have a seperate association from the main community to manage all of those extras. Can't speak as to whether they are getting their moneys worth or not though!
