Anybody got any experience with Advanced Aqua and Air Solutions? A rep names Steve stopped by my house tonight and wanted to do a free water test. His card lists a St. George address.

Just curious if anybody had any dealings with them.

I know nothing about this company. I know we have one guy here in Daybreak that does water and air systems. his name is Kent Larsen. He owns Larsen water and Air. He is a great guy. Before I met Kent I had a Superior Water system installed in my home. I have been happy with that system.

That Steve came to my house last night and I wasted at least 2 hours with him. He wanted to sell me a water softener, a reverse osmosis water filter and a Kirby vacuum. He spent at least an hour to do all his water test tricks which I knew the water was hard in Utah already.

The softener which he was selling was quite expensive. I told him I needed to think about it before I could commit any purchase. It was hard to get him out of the door.

I ended up doing fair amount of research on the Internet afterward. I think whatever brand you choose, just make sure it's backed by good service/warranty. I was looking at Ecowater and Superior. There is another company called Cleenwater based in Utah and their water conditioner doesn't require salt. I may talk to Kent Larsen to see what options he has on offer.

I would avoid Ecowater. They have a spotty reputation in Daybreak.
