Across from the (formerly) Albertsons by the credit union? Strange that they would put two so close together. I'm not happy about that location. I go to Wal-mart occasionally but I don't want one in my back yard.

Are you sure its a Wal-mart and not a Walgreens? I heard a walgreens is going in and that makes more sense.

Yup, it's a SUper Wal-Mart. The Wal-Mart on 114th south, just off I-15 (also in SJ) has had incredible success and has actually paid for the new public works building on redwood road. They still plan on having the Neighborhood market on 9800 south will remain open. It is also correct that Costco is waiting till next year. Both are scheduled for a summer 2009 opening.

The level of humanity slips a little more with every Walmart built. On the plus side Walmart offers more random meat options than even the trashiest butcher.
