Does anyone else have problems RSVPing on Daybreakliving.net?

I tried to RSVP twice for the Legends of Oquirrh Lake and I kept getting an error after I submitted the form saying the page was under construction or wasn’t available.

I finally just emailed Tina my RSVP hopefully she will respond letting me know what is going on.

I think you may be right, Robert! Of course, after all the time they took to "upgrade" the site, did anyone really expect anything to work right???

There is only a couple of "threads" on the new site by folks running "clubs" and it states (or used to) that you can reply by hitting the "reply" button. Only hitch: there is no "reply" button. I guess that they're afraid that some of us might hijack the threads to have an open discussion. There is no desire by the HOA to promote any input by the residents. Just an FYI...I spoke to Tina yesterday and she was able to get me signed up for the Legends of Oquirrh Lake over the phone. She never received my email though because of the switch in her email address now that she is married.

(I still don't know why I wasn't able to submit the form online...maybe I'm missing a plug-in or soemthing.)

I'm guessing the same e-wonder that manages the CCMC Daybreak community web site is in charge of email address changes.

I've never seen an email address shut down for a name change. Generally, both names will be accepted for a period of time, allowing the person to inform everyone that responds to the address. Even if they decided to shut it down an auto response can be established directing people to the new address.

Unless it has been decided that residents really don't need to communicate with the events coordinator.
