Ty McCutcheon, from Kennecott, conducted.
Open Resident Forum
Concern: City not plowing of dead end alleys was discussed.
Response: This is a city decision; the HOA and Kennecott have no control. Citizens advised to contact the city council.
Concern: Walkways from roundabout on 114th South to SoDa Row are not cleared of snow.
Response: Kennecott did not anticipate the need to be as great as it is. They plan to complete the sidewalk that runs down the center island. Once installed, the sidewalk will be kept clear. Paved paths will not be cleared of snow.
Christmas Lights and Decorations
A resolution was passed requiring all Christmas decorations be removed each year by January 15th. Christmas lights may not be lit after January 15th and are to be removed no later than April 1st.
Amendment 4, Multiple Home Ownership
This amendment would allow residents of Daybreak, who are in good standing, to own one rental property within Daybreak without being required to live in the rental unit. Discussed but no decision was made.
Fees for Design Review
Due to increasing costs, it was proposed that residents be charged a fee to have landscaping plans and desired architectural changes reviewed. This was table and is to be reviewed and discussed at a future meeting. Residents were concerned that this would delay new home owners from finishing their landscaping.
