I hardly ever walk around the lake. Is there any warning sign posted about the danger of thin ice on the lake? As resident, we get emails and letters warning us about thin ice, but visitors to Daybreak do not receive those notice. I saw a few guys walk off the pier and onto the lake. One of them even walked right next to the bubbler, right in the middle of the lake.

I have only driven by lately, but did see at least one sign warning of thin ice and to stay off. What were those guys thinking??

Unfortunately, those same idiots teach neighborhood children that it is "safe" to be on the ice despite the warnings of other adults. There are quite a few signs that are up so there really is no excuse. I hope that the schools are sending out warnings again this year to ensure kids are staying off especially since I've seen footprints on the lake that appear to come from adults and children.
