The staff has been notified many times. All you get back from the HOA is it is in the enforcement process. Hide in the office is an understatement

I guess part of our HOA is paying for the perception that the policy are being enforced (since the procedure and rules are present) but not in reality.

is the deliquent rate is still at 20%? That's a lot of money the HOA is not getting.

Since you mentioned the HOA staff is bloated, maybe, just maybe, they can send those staff on rotation to enforce the rule. Each staff, will take turn to go around the neighborhood. This will help them understand the community better, to serve the community better. They're not hired as overlord of the community. I think a day a week "in the outdoor" isn't too much.

Otherwise, they're just hiding in that office building.

A very good idea Sam. I'm concerned about what black hole process the information from each trip would fall into once the staff member returns to the office.

How long can a vehicle be parked on a street? I know the rules about when it snows and the streets need to be plowed but some cars sit for weeks without being moved. It doesn't seem cars are being ticketed for being on the wrong side of the street (odd/even rule). Can we call the City of South Jordan code enforcers? Will they actually tow the vehicle or do they have to give warnings first? I could call the HOA but they would probably say call the City. What are the rules?

Has the reporting process changed? Seems like it was about a year ago that the HOA went away from them going out and finding compliance issues and instead, adopted a homeowner complaint system only. Is this still the case, or will they have a compliance person perusing the neighborhood for broken rules in order to assess the fines?

Example :
Big box trailer with electrical advertising all over it parked down on Oakmond and 11700. This is parked right next to the exit of the alley blocking the view of oncoming traffic. A large fire truck or garbage truck can not make the turn out of the alley if it was necessary. Being right across the street from the school it also hides children walking to school. It has been in the same place parked without a vehicle attached to it for two weeks. Why rent a space from the HOA when you can park it for free.
This is the kind of enforcement that needs to be taken care of right under their nose.
