My wife and I moved into our new home near the LDS Temple recently from St. George, and we get horrible cell reception in about a 12 block radius. I have friends whose cells give them the same issue and we are all on different networks (T-Mobile, Verizon, Cricket, etc.).

Any suggestions to get this boosted? Can we make a request for a cell tower here? Anyone know?

we are having the same issue. we live on Fern Ridge. i called AT&T last week to mention something to them, however they did not promise anything.

Cell phone reception has been poor in Eastlake from the first. ATT has very poor reception in the area but they are responding to complaints about dropped calls, nationwide, by saying that the iPhone uses so much bandwidth because of all the apps that the result is dropped calls. Their exclusivity for the iPhone ends in a day or so and they are hoping that when the other carriers get the iPhone that they will experience the same problems.

All carriers have the same problems in Eastlake, however, and until there is a tower(s) up here, the outlook looks bleak.

We have lived in East Lake for over 2 years and have never had a problem with dropped calls. We have Verizon and mostly use our cell phones and call all over the U.S. and it is as clear and reliable as can be! We also go up to the mountains a lot and can call in any remote area from our cell phones to other states with no problem! I would recommend Verizon if you are having problems!

Signal jammers up in the end of the horn ??

I think it all depends on your location in Eastlake. We had Verizon and were constantly dropping calls. Now we have ATT and only certain spots drop the calls. Who knows.
